Folktales are divided into three separate groups: fables, fairy tales, and folktales. The definition of folktales is that they are stories that are mostly but not completely directed towards children. Included in this article are their origins, notable authors who either wrote them originally or printed the oral story, and the deeper meaning behind them. We have compiled an extensive list of fairy tales and folktales for you to read and enjoy. While you may be familiar with the folktale stories and common fairy tales of your own country, there are still many popular folktales to learn about. Some folklore is also used to celebrate cultural heritage, and always seems to have lessons gained from them. Folklores include warnings of supernatural beings to keep children safe or well-behaved. While fairy tales and fables are other versions of folktales, cultural heritage produced folklore stories, which often include scary legends. However, take note that folklores are entirely different from folktales. All the old folktales people grew up with can heavily influence society. I'd like to recommend it as suitable for all the family, but just remember that it does contain some rather immature and uninspired dialogue.Lessons learned from each folktale shape the society’s upbringing of their children, which makes it even more fascinating to learn. Experienced players may find it to be a bit too easy, but it's certainly entertaining enough to provide light relief between tougher games and offers a reasonable challenge to players new to the genre. On the other hand, I still enjoyed the adventuring components, but then, I do like this style of graphic adventure. The dialogue and the ending were, for me, disappointing, as was the lack of any real depth to the story. Overall, I thought that Fable had a lot of potential that was not quite fulfilled. Gordon Aplin echos up my feelings about the game in his review at the Quandary: " The plot is typical fantasy mumbo-jumbo: you control Quickthorpe, who is tasked with finding the four fabled jewels to restore his land to former peace. Fable is a decent point-and-click adventure from Telstar that unfortunately got very little notice due to lack of fanfare, limited distribution, and the general slump in adventure game genre.
